Kerry
McDonald founded Point of Action LLC, a Boston-based training
consulting firm that provides ongoing corporate training planning
as well as customized training workshops to local and regional
CPA and financial advisory firms nationwide.
Prior to launching
Point of Action, Kerry worked for Arthur Andersen in Boston
and Chicago. She draws on her experience working in the
professional services field to work closely with her clients
to plan a corporate training strategy that meets their specific
organizational needs.
Kerry graduated Magna Cum Laude
from Bowdoin College with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.
She later earned a Master’s degree in Education from Harvard
University and received a certificate in Human Resource Management.
Kerry is the author of several training
and development publications, including "Get
the Most Out of Training Day," an editorially-acclaimed
feature article in the AICPA’s Journal of Accountancy,
"Meyners
Does a Reality Check," also in the Journal of Accountancy,
and "The
People Measure," published by INSIGHT Magazine.
She was recently featured in the Boston Herald's Women's Business
Boston publication.
In her free time,
Kerry enjoys writing consumer interest books. In March
2005, her book, Your
Unique Wedding: Say "I Do" With A Twist,
was published by Career Press/New Page Books.
